Tattoos are typically timeless works of art. However, they can turn into a regrettable ordeal if an error occurs during the inking process or, as in the case of Cara Delevingne, a spelling mistake is made.

Cara Delevingne will now bear this ink forever

Italian tattoo artist Matteo Nangeroni posted a photo of the actress on Instagram, where she presents his new masterpiece. Her left upper arm is now adorned with an abstract woman's face. Under the portrait is the writing "Dormiveglia", the Italian word for "half-asleep."

According to the dictionary definition, the word actually means: "The space that stretches between sleeping and waking." However, if you look closely you will see that they changed the word "waking" with the word "walking," altering the meaning of the sentence.

So, this small mishap now alters the message on Cara Delevingne's skin. Oops!
