• Nicola Coughlan shares Bridgerton season 2 premiere look
  • The actress looks incredible in a dramatic black ballgown
  • Coughlan had to stay home after testing positive for COVID

Nicola Coughlan may have been unable to walk the red carpet with her Bridgerton co-stars, but she still celebrated in style! Despite testing positive for COVID-19 not long before the show's season 2 premiere, Coughlan dressed up for the big event, sharing her look on social media.

Coughlan calls premiere look "a dream come true"

Coughlan, who plays "Penelope Featherington" in the popular Netflix series, took to Instagram with a striking photoshoot. In the pictures, the star can be seen wearing a black gown with big puffy sleeves, which she revealed was custom designed for her by Miu Miu. That wasn't the only custom piece in her ensemble, as her headband was also a specialty item, courtesy of designer Awon Golding.

The actress wears an eye-catching shade of blue eyeshadow and shows off her manicure, posing at various locations throughout luxury hotel The Lanesborough. "If you thought Covid was gonna take away my Bridgerton Premiere look- think again," Coughlan wrote alongside the stunning photos. She also gave a special shoutout to Elle UK "for making this dream come true," and thanked her glam team.
