Adam Levine has debuted a bold new look in the latest Maroon 5 music video! Watch the video for the band's new single "Nobody's Love" here!

Levine croons about love in new Maroon 5 track

Levine shows off a shaved head and beard in the video, rolling a joint of marijuana with red wine at his side. "You’re the only hand in my back pocket, if you ever left I go psychotic," he sings in a yard at night.

"Heaven hear me crying, crying oh, oh, baby you’re the key to my heart locket." As People reports, the video for Maroon 5's new love song also comes with a powerful message about the war on drugs.

Levine calls for war on marijuana to come to an end

Levine shared a statement from the ACLU at the end of the video, urging the war on marijuana to end. "The aggressive enforcement of marijuana possession laws needlessly ensnares hundreds of thousands of people into the criminal justice system and wastes billions of taxpayers’ dollars," it reads.

"What’s more, it is carried out with staggering racial bias. Despite being a priority for police departments nationwide, the War on Marijuana has failed to reduce marijuana use and availability and diverted resources that could be better invested in our communities."

Maroon 5 teased release of song on Instagram

Maroon 5's new single "Nobody's Love" is their first release since last year's song "Memories". As People mentions, a press release for "Nobody's Love" says that David Dobkin, who's worked with Maroon 5 before, directed the music video.

The band had previously alluded to the fact they were releasing a new single on social media! "Lonely like an island," they captioned a recent Instagram post. While it didn't specifically announce the song's release, the post teased some of its lyrics alongside a technicolour photo of a woman on the beach.

Maroon 5 band member stepping back amid charges

Levine's new look and the release of "Nobody's Love" isn't the only reason Maroon 5 is making headlines right now. One of the other band members, Mickey Madden, was arrested for alleged domestic violence in June!

"I have some things that I need to deal with and address right now and so I have decided to take a leave of absence from Maroon 5 for the foreseeable future," Madden said in a statement to People. "During this time, I do not want to be a distraction to my bandmates. I wish them the absolute best."
