Gaga replies to fan's tweet about her new song
Gaga first posted about the song earlier this week, saying that she "didn’t even realize the multiple layers it spanned across the film’s heart, my own psyche, and the nature of the world we’ve been living in" at first. The singer explained that while she penned the track for Top Gun: Maverick, she also considers it "a love letter to the world during and after a very hard time."
Not only is "Hold My Hand" topping charts worldwide after its release, fans are clearly loving it! "I love that her song feels like she’s talking directly to you and comforting you from a tiring bad day," Eduardo, who goes by the handle @Edu1347 on Twitter, said in reply to Gaga's tweet about "Hold My Hand". The singer was clearly moved by these words, as she actually responded!
"Ilysm," Gaga tweeted back, including emojis of a globe and a heart. While the sequel to the 1986 classic Top Gun was originally supposed to debut last year, the movie is finally being released later this month. It will be exciting to see how it makes use of the emotional ballad from the Oscar-winning star, which some are already speculating could be up for awards contention in the future!
