The nominees for the 2020 CMT Music Awards were just announced on Wednesday! This year's ceremony is set to take place on Wednesday, October 21, focusing on the year's best when it comes to country music videos and performances. What makes this awards show especially exciting is that all of the winners are chosen by fans!
Some of the artists with the most nominations include Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett, and Luke Combs. The Chicks received their first CMT Music Awards nod since 2007, nominated along with Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown, and more. As well, some artists who aren't typically part of the country music world— Halsey, Marshmello, and Gwen Stefani— have received nominations for crossing over with country stars!
