Selena Gomez hadn’t put out a new album in 5 years, so fans of the singer were incredibly excited when she announced Rare! The first major pop release of 2020, Gomez’s third album was released on January 10 and features the chart-topping lead single "Lose You To Love Me". Rare wasn’t the only new music from Gomez this year, as she also collaborated with K-pop girl group BLACKPINK on the song "Ice Cream"!
Halsey
2020 has been a big year for Halsey when it comes to music! She hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live, and had a song on the Birds of Prey soundtrack (“Experiment on Me”). And on January 17, she dropped her third studio album, Manic. Featuring songs like "Graveyard," "you should be sad," and her multi-platinum hit "Without Me," Manic is Halsey’s most introspective album yet— and like its name suggests, it’s also all over the place musically, spanning a wide range of genres.
