In addition to her good daily habits, the Queen maintained great health thanks to the good food and balanced diet she had. Darren McGrady, former cook for the Queen, shared with 'Mirror' what her diet was like and what she ate.

Mostly fish and surprisingly a lot of wine!

She explains that her meals were planned three days in advance so that the Queen could choose what she wanted and get the best ingredients in time.

Salmon, tea, venison, vegetables, gin, and even chocolate. Her diet was chosen by the queen herself but with the help of expert cooks to allow for a balanced diet.
