In a solemn ceremony, King Charles III handed over one of his most prestigious military roles, that of Honorary Colonel of the Army Air Corps, to his son, Prince William. This handover is not only a sign of confidence in Prince William's abilities as a pilot, but also a symbolic passing of the baton within the royal family

The handover took place on Monday at the Army Aviation Center, where King Charles arrived by helicopter to officially hand over the military dignity.
