On May 6th the coronation of King Charles III will take place. The historic event has been planned for months and follows certain traditions of the British royal family. According to 'People' magazine, Princess Kate will be breaking with one of these. There will be many changes with respect to the last royal coronation.
Kate has never been one to fit the mold
As with the coronation of the late Queen Elizabeth II seven decades ago, all royal ladies should wear a tiara. However, Prince William's wife is said to be aiming for a less official look and would like to forgo the royal headdress, a palace insider tells the publication.
