Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have broken many royal traditions, but they reportedly intend to keep one intact — for baby Lilibet's christening ceremony.
During his recent UK visit, Prince Harry informed several people of his intention to baptize his American-born daughter Lili in Windsor, according to a Daily Mail report. It would be a royal christening attended by the Queen in a ceremony like Archie's in 2019.

A royal source revealed the surprising news to Daily Mail this week. They said: "Harry told several people that they want to have Lili christened at Windsor, just like her brother."
Arrangements for the christening could be complicated given current travel and COVID-19 restrictions, but the source added that Harry and Meghan are "happy to wait until circumstances allow."
So far, that's all we know about the rumoured UK return for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their children. It would also be the first update on christening plans for baby Lilibet Diana, who is now 6 weeks old.
Meghan and Harry's next UK visit coming in 2021?
There was also a previous report that Harry and Meghan could return to the UK in September for a follow-up event to the Princess Diana statue unveiling of earlier this month. But it's unconfirmed at this time if that trip has any connection to the baptism.
There were question marks surrounding when and where Lili will be christened, because the royal ceremony carries the tradition of the child wearing the Royal Christening Gown. But if Lili was baptized in the US, she likely wouldn't have access to the gown.
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born back on June 4. A visit for the christening would be her first time in the UK, while her brother Archie has been away from his birth country since late 2019.
