Princess Diana became a member of the royal family through her marriage with Prince Charles in 1981. It was recently revealed that she was not 100% happy with the decision of getting married to Prince Charles, but then everything became worse after she found out that he was actually having an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. Princess Diana reportedly learned about his affair one day before the wedding.

According to royal experts, Diana was told about the affair only one day before her wedding to Prince Charles. She had found a gold bracelet with the initials G and F., which make reference to Gladice and Fred, the secret nicknames of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. On their wedding day, it became apparent that the marriage between the two was ill-fated, and actually some video recordings showed Charles desperately trying to keep eye contact with Camilla, who was among the wedding guests.

Princess Diana actually confronted Camilla

After the honeymoon, the relationship between Princess Diana and Prince Charles did not get any better. Charles had returned to Camilla directly after the vacation with Diana, who reportedly said it was the worst moment of her life. But one day Princess Diana and her rival met at the birthday party of Camilla's sister, Annabel Elliot.

There, Diana confronted Camilla with her knowledge about the affair and asked Camilla for a private conversation. Then she told her that she knew exactly what was going on and Camilla replied that Princess Diana had always had everything he wanted, and Diana said: "I want my husband."

The entire encounter is actually documented in archival recordings, in which Princess Diana recounts the awkward conversation with her husband’s mistress. On August 28, 1996, Prince Charles and the late Lady Diana officially divorced.
