- Prince Harry has said he wants to reconcile with his family
- He publicly asked for an apology from the royals to Meghan
- King Charles has resisted so far – here's why
The great feud between Charles and William, and Harry and Meghan continues to rage on.
Both sides have dug in, and Prince Harry has a clear demand: He wants to talk and an apology from his family to Duchess Meghan.
Prince Harry went public with his demands from King Charles
Just recently, speaking to the Telegraph, Harry said: "I wish you’d actually sat down with me, properly, and instead of saying I’m delusional and paranoid, actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I’d really like is some accountability."
"And an apology to my wife," he added. But why won't his family grant him this wish?
An insider with People magazine has an answer. "When 'recollections vary,' that's quite difficult," explains the anonymous source.
Also interesting:
This probably makes it clear why a reconciliation has failed so far. Harry and Meghan have different interpretations of incidents in the past than Charles and William.
This, of course, makes a sincere apology difficult. However, the Palace insider is also sure that King Charles would like Harry back in the family.
He would also like both his sons to be present at his Coronation. Royal fans remain hopeful that they will somehow find a way back to each other...
