Since the end of 2022, Princess Kate has held a new military position: like Prince William before her, she was appointed Colonel of the Irish Guards. A position that's very important in the annual Trooping the Color parade honoring the reigning monarch. Prince William and his aunt Princess Anne performed their roles with the soldiers in the parade and wore their uniforms.
Kate is just built different
As the 'Mirror' now reports, Kate will not take this step. Instead, on June 17, she will arrive by carriage for the big parade and will not wear a military uniform.
