Charles Spencer welcomes you inside Althorp in a new picture he shared on social media. Althorp is the historic house in Northamptonshire, England, that's been in the Spencer family for over 500 years. It's also where Charles grew up with his sister Princess Diana.

In the new picture, the Earl Spencer captured a pet cat climbing a staircase in the home, leading up to an impressive wall of family portraits. Fans couldn't help but key in on the lovely painting of Diana in the top right corner, showing the late princess in white and with a green skirt posed before a wall. "Paw patrol, Althorp House⁩ style - blending in to the surroundings," Charles captioned the picture on Twitter. The Earl Spencer himself is seen in the top left portrait, while his wife Karen's portrait rests between those of the Spencer siblings.

Charles and Diana's father John Spencer is the subject painted in the bottom left, and his father Albert is in the bottom right. The portraits decorate a wall within Althorp, which is the childhood home of Princess Diana. She lived there after her parents divorced and until she married Prince Charles.

Princess Diana's grave is also at Althorp

The Princess of Wales was also buried on the grounds of Althorp after her tragic death in 1997. She was laid to rest at a secluded spot on an island on the estate, a location chosen by Charles Spencer.

Royal Family members have also been sharing looks at their royal residences in recent weeks. Sophie, Countess of Wessex, gave a quick peek inside Bagshot Park, her home with Prince Edward, while Princess Anne did the same from her home living room at Gatcombe Park.
