Meghan Markle recently took the time to read her new children's book to the world! On Thursday, the YouTube channel Brightly Storytime shared a new video where the Duchess of Sussex reads The Bench aloud, making her first online appearance in some time.

Meghan encourages viewers to "find your own special bench"

Meghan appeared comfortable and relaxed in the short video. She sat outside in a wooden chair while reading from The Bench, which she mentioned had come from a poem she'd written Prince Harry. Brightly Storytime's summary of the book says The Bench "captures the evolving and expanding relationship between father and son, and reminds us of the many ways that love can take shape and be expressed in a modern family."

The royal opted for a casual outfit, wearing a white button-up with the sleeves rolled and blue jeans. At the end of the video, Meghan addressed the camera directly, sharing a touching message with those who had tuned into her storytime session. She expressed her hope that people would go off and "find your own special bench,"— or, in other words, "a place that means something to you that you can share with someone you love."

Meghan and Harry recently welcomed a brand-new loved one into their family, with the arrival of daughter Lilibet this summer. In August, Meghan was seen for the first time since Lilibet's birth in a video she shared that announced her new project 40x40, an initiative the royal created in honour of her 40th birthday.
