Prince Charles: New tribute video for Prince Philip

With the moving video, Charles said: "My father, for I suppose the last 70 years, has given the most remarkable, devoted service to The Queen, to my family and to the country, but also to the whole of the Commonwealth… My dear Papa was a very special person."

Prince Charles's video shows dozens of photos from Prince Philip's life, highlighting everything from his military work to sports, support for the Queen, and family time with his four children. Several shots specifically of a young Charles and his father are also seen in the video, set to sombre piano music.

The Instagram post impressively shared that the late Duke had been President, Patron, or Honorary Member with 992 organizations and had "special interests in scientific and technological research and development, the welfare of young people, education, conservation, the environment and the encouragement of sport."
