Prince Harry gave back to veterans in Los Angeles recently with his latest charitable endeavour! As Hello! shares, the Duke of Sussex showed up to volunteer at Walker Family Events Foundation on November 13, where he assisted with the distribution of goods for a special new initiative.
Harry said to be "humble and kind" by volunteer organization
Prince Harry dressed casually as he stepped out for his latest event, wearing jeans, a polo shirt, and a mask! Hello! mentions that the royal aided the WFEF in providing veterans and their families with parcels of goods. And it sounds like Harry's visit was certainly a memorable one, as documented in a social media post by the WFEF!
"Today I had the honor of meeting and working alongside Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex," the organization wrote on Instagram. "He joined us in volunteering at Compton VFW for the Operation Nourish program packing and distributing food to our #Compton neighbors. He is very humble and kind."
Harry frequently contributes to charity work in Los Angeles
Prince Harry is known for his charitable work, contributing his time to helping out many organizations in Los Angeles since he and Meghan Markle moved there! Back in April, Harry and Meghan volunteered to deliver meals to those struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic. And in June, the couple were seen helping out at a Los Angeles gang rehab facility, Homeboy Industries!
The day after Harry's visit to the WFEF, he was seen laying a wreath on Remembrance Sunday with Meghan. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's cemetery visit came after Buckingham Palace denied Harry from having his own wreath laid in the United Kingdom.
