After Prince Philip (99) spent the last few days at King Edward VII Hospital in London, where he was treated for an infection, the Royal has been moved to another hospital.

Prince Philip Moved To New Hospital

A statement from Buckingham Palace shared by Hello! reads:

"The Duke of Edinburgh was today transferred from King Edward VII’s Hospital to St Bartholomew’s Hospital where doctors will continue to treat him for an infection, as well as undertake testing and observation for a pre-existing heart condition. The Duke remains comfortable and is responding to treatment but is expected to remain in hospital until at least the end of the week."

It also said that Prince Philip will likely stay in the hospital until the end of the week at least. St. Batholomew's Hospital is one of the leading high-tech hospitals in London so he is in good hands.

Prince Philip came to the hospital almost two weeks ago because he felt "unwell", the royal family announced in a statement. Since then he has been visited by his son Prince Charles (72) in the hospital. It has been confirmed that this hospital stay is not due to COVID-19.

Prince Edward told Sky News, "As far as I'm aware, well I did speak to him the other day, so he's a lot better thank you very much indeed, and he's looking forward to getting out, which is the most positive thing. So we keep our fingers crossed." Prince Charles was also spotted visiting his father and Prince William told a photographer in his first public appearance of 2021 that "he's okay. They're keeping an eye on him."
