June 10, 2020 marks the Duke of Edinburgh's 99th birthday! An incredible milestone worth celebrating and although the royal couple have been in self-isolation together at Windsor Castle since the middle of March, they are expected to mark the occasion. 

Queen Elizabeth II marked her 94th birthday in isolation in April and has been carrying out her royal duties from Windsor. She was even pictured riding a horse over the weekend!

Prince Philip Officially Retired At The Age Of 96

Prince Philip, was last seen pictured at a public event in May 2019 while attending Lady Gabriella Windsor's wedding. He officially retired in August 2017 at the age of 96. Throughout his time as a working member of the British Royal Family, the Duke completed 22,219 solo engagements since 1952

Most recently in April, 2020, Philip issued a rare statement to thank those working in the medical and scientific professions during the coronavirus pandemic. It was also recently reported that the Queen and Prince Philip have been planning his 100th birthday celebrations, which of course will be celebrated on June 10, 2021.
