Criminal Minds is coming back, finally. The popular drama will get a two-hour season 15 premiere on January 8 2020 starting at 9pm ET. After that, the show will resume its regular hour-long episodes. CBS has also already set a date for a two-hour series finale which will air on February 15 at 9pm ET.

Criminal Minds: Season 15 starts on January 8 2020

The final season will consist of ten episodes only but showrunner Erica Messer is fine with that, since she already found out about the cancellation while she was still writing for season 14. Messer said to CinemaBlend earlier this year:

"By the time I found out, there was enough time for us to properly do a season finale and then we knew that we’d have 10 episodes to wrap up the series. [...] As far as that goes, we were treated with incredible respect."
