Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy is a drama series produced for ABC, which, since 2005, has become one of the most successful medical dramas ever on television! Since its premiere, it has had 17 seasons which have generated a large number of fans around the world. The series has starred actors such as Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Patrick Dempsey, Chandra Wilson or James Pickens Jr., as well as who has remained the main protagonist from the beginning: Ellen Pompeo, as "Meredith Gray."

Thanks to its 17 seasons, Grey's Anatomy is the longest-scripted stellar show on ABC, and since 2019 it has gone on to become the longest-running primetime medical drama, positioning itself as one of the most successful series in the world.

Grey's Anatomy is considered one of the great series that has generated a cultural impact and has received several awards, including a Golden Globe for Best Drama Television Series. In addition, it has received a total of 38 Emmy Award nominations, including the Best Dramatic Series category.

  • Its title comes from a classic book on human anatomy, written by Henry Gray and which was originally published in 1858.
