Jungle Cruise: Disney teams up with "The Rock" and Emily Blunt
The legend of Disney's Jungle Cruise revolves around a "Tree of Life" that exists in the Amazon. The new movie stars Emily Blunt as a scientist who's in search of the tree and Dwayne Johnson as a riverboat captain.
Blunt and "The Rock" are countered by men with evil intentions behind pursuing the tree. Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad) and Edgar Ramirez star as the villains.
Jungle Cruise: Disneyland ride becomes a movie
Jungle Cruise is inspired by the Disneyland ride that opened in 1955.
Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra helms the movie. You can also see Jungle Cruise star Emily Blunt in her new movie, A Quiet Place Part II, when it comes to theatres next week. It opens on March 20!
