'Love Actually': This Is Thomas Brodie-Sangster Now
The Christmas rom-com Love Actually first took cinema screens by storm 17 years ago. The film was one of the ultimate feel-good Christmas films of all time, and it was impossible not to fall in love with the various characters, while they, well, fell in love! The film was a worldwide hit, but it was "Sam" who stole the hearts of fans everywhere and who turned what was an already great film, into a truly spectacular one.
Thomas Brodie-Sangster played "Sam" in Love Actually, who lives with his stepdad "Daniel" (played by the gorgeous Liam Neeson), after the death of his mother. "Daniel" is really worried about "Sam" who is quiet and withdrawn, and thinks that he will never get over the death of his mother. But "Sam", as it turns out, is actually head over heels in love with a girl at his school.
Thomas Sangster also appeared in Nanny McPhee
Born on May 16, 1990, Sangster had his big breakthrough starring in Love Actually. Soon after, he starred alongside Emma Thompson and Colin Firth in the blockbuster Nanny McPhee in 2005. Thomas also appeared in the hit series Game of Thrones from 2013 until 2014. In 2017, he played "Whitney Winn" in the TV show Godless.
