Patrick Dempsey is using his platform to encourage the use of masks amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The actor and racecar driver shared to Instagram a new photo, which recalls one of his Grey's Anatomy character's most famous lines: "It's a Beautiful Day to Save Lives," Dempsey wrote.

Fans of the medical drama series will remember that "Dr. Derek Shepherd" often said the line before he performed surgery.
