The Bachelor has revealed the lineup of ladies who will be competing for the affection of new "Bachelor" Matt James when the show returns! As People shares, on Monday the show's official social media account shared the news that they'd found their potential contestants.

The Bachelor narrowed search down to 43 female hopefuls

The Bachelor shared on Facebook that they've officially found the women who might have a chance at love with Matt James in season 25 of the reality show! "We are giving you an early look at the women who may be on this season of #TheBachelor in 2021!" they wrote, along with photos of each of the 43 women under consideration.

Along with their pictures, the women have their names, ages, and hometowns listed. And as People points out, almost all of them are in their 20s, with the youngest Bachelor hopeful being 21 years old. Only four of the women who could possibly appear on the show are in their 30s!

The Bachelor's newest lead has started filming the show

The Bachelor's newest lead was originally supposed to be one of the men competing in Clare Crawley's upcoming season of The Bachelorette. However, plans changed, and James was announced as the first Black "Bachelor" back in June! While some have thought of the move as stunt casting because of the push to make the show more diverse, former "Bachelorette" and current Dancing With the Stars contestant Kaitlyn Bristowe believes it to be a genuine effort.

Even though filming of The Bachelor was delayed for some time due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was revealed last month that James has officially started filming his season! And while he may not be part of Crawley's season anymore, James has shared that he's looking forward to seeing her on The Bachelorette! Take a look at all of the 43 female Bachelor hopefuls here, and tune in to see who ends up making it on the show!
