These Three 'Game of Thrones' Stars Nominated Themselves For Emmys
The Emmy Awards are just around the corner and Game of Thrones got more than 30 nominations. But did you know that some of the GoT stars nominated this year were not entered by HBO for Emmy consideration? Get all the details in our video above!
The HBO series Game of Thrones dominated the Emmys this year with an outstanding record of 32 nominations, including Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series; and Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series, among other categories.
Although seven of the GoT actors nominated for an Emmy award this year gained their nominations in the traditional way after HBO put them into consideration, the network didn't submit three of the other nominated stars. Instead, those actors did it themselves by paying an entry fee.
Fans will know who the winners are very soon
The 71st edition of the Emmy Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California on September 22nd, 2019.
