RMS Titanic

The sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912 is still one of the greatest historical tragedies. A total of 1,495 people died and only 712 people survived during that fateful cruise. Most only know the story leading up to the ship's sinking, but do you know what was found after the shipwreck?

A few items from the Titanic can still be viewed at exhibitions today. These include personal items, as well as some of the ship's furnishings. Click through the slides to see photos of these objects that were recovered long after the Titanic sank!
