What we know so far about Top Gun: Maverick
Top Gun: Maverick will see Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer reprise their roles from the original Top Gun film of the 1980s. In Top Gun: Maverick, Cruise's "Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell" returns to flying school as a teacher for younger pilots. Miles Teller appears in the film as one of the pilots, who is also the son of "Goose" from the first Top Gun film. Other cast members include Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, and Ed Harris.
