It was another great night of dancing where the scores were out of 40 points tonight because along with our regular panel of three judges, a surprise guest judged joined in on the fun! Leah Remini sat at the judges table to give her advice and comments to all the competing couples, and we loved every second of it!
Couples hit the dance floor
Starting off the night was Lamar Odom and Peta Murgatroyd dancing a Viennese waltz with a score of 20/40, then came Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold with a Pasodoble and a score of 21/40 from the judges. Kate Flannery danced an Argentine Tango with Pasha Pashkov earning a score of 26/40 and Karamo Brown danced a tango with his partner Jenna Johnson receiving a score of 28/40 from the judges.
James Van Der Beek made a big announcement
Not only did James Van Der Beek announce that he and his wife are expecting their sixth child with a cute video of them at their first ultrasound together on the show, he also danced a quickstep with partner Emma Slater getting a score of 28/40. Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy danced a Cha-Cha with a score of 31/40, Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber got a score of 32/40 for their jive and Hannah Brown danced a Pasodoble with her partner Alan Bersten getting a score of 32/40.
Our thoughts are with Lauren Alaina
Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson danced a Cha-Cha and got a score of 32/40 from the judges. Country singer Lauren Alaina danced a foxtrot with her partner Gleb Savchenko getting a score of 32/40. After her performance she announced that her cousin Holly went into a coma earlier in the week and she flew home and missed some rehearsals. We are hoping for the best for Lauren and her family!
Lamar Odom Says Goodbye
The bottom two couples this week were Lamar and Peta and Karamo and Jenna. The judges decided to send home Lamar Odom and his partner Peta based on their scores last week and this week as well as a lack of live audience votes. See you next week Mirror Ball lovers!
