Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland is the latest member of the Baldwin family to speak out after the tragic accident that took cinematographer Halyna Hutchins' life. Following statements from Alec and his wife Hilaria, Ireland Baldwin took to social media on Wednesday to share that people haven't exactly been kind to her following her dad's involvement in the fatal shooting.

Ireland says she has received "abhorrent and threatening comments"

Ireland made an Instagram post for the first time in several days, revealing that she has been on the receiving end of harassment over the past week. The 26-year-old mentioned that there have been "abhorrent and threatening comments, emails, text messages, and voicemails" directed her way. However, instead of her social media update focusing on the negativity, Ireland instead chose to offer support for her father by passing on a touching anecdote.

She posted a comment that she had received from Instagram user @misstraceynolan, who recounted a sweet experience she had working with Alec. Nolan, who runs the blog The Crop, shared how she was involved with the actor's film Thomas the Tank Engine. She mentioned that instead of the "pretty goofy celebrity riders" she had seen, Alec had a simple request: "milk and cereal in his hotel room for when his daughter was visiting."

Ireland reflected on the sweet memory Nolan shared, which she explained "stands alone" amidst the hate. "I know my dad, you simply don’t," she said, ending with a message of love for her father. "There are no words to convey my shock and sadness about the incident," Alec said in a statement last Friday. A few days ago, Hilaria made an Instagram post of her own, saying how "it's impossible to express the shock and heartache of such a tragic accident."
