Dolly Parton is singing about how the way she lives her life will change after quarantine! As People reports, Parton dropped her brand-new single "When Life Is Good Again" on Wednesday, and the song sees her expressing a desire to be more considerate and present in the moment.

"When Life Is Good Again" centers on the concept that while we are currently living through difficult times and this unprecedented period of self-reflection will fundamentally change us, things are going to be okay in the end. Parton wrote the song as a direct response to the coronavirus situation, and it offers what People calls "an uplifting message grounded in faith," as is a common theme in her music.

Parton releasing "When Life Is Good Again" isn't the only way the country singer has reached out in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic! As People shares, Parton launched a 10-week webseries called Goodnight with Dolly back in April, where she reads books for children.

All of the books she chose to read as part of Goodnight with Dolly were from Parton's Imagination Library book gifting program, which she began in 1995 as a way to promote literacy. Imagination Library sees Parton mailing books to households that have children who are age 5 or younger, and to date, she's donated over 130 million books through the initiative.

Parton also made a generous donation of $1 million to Vanderbilt University to help fund coronavirus research. "My longtime friend Dr. Naji Abumrad, who’s been involved in research at Vanderbilt for many years, informed me that they were making some exciting advancements towards research of the coronavirus for a cure," Parton explained on Twitter. "I am making a donation of $1 million to Vanderbilt towards that research and to encourage people that can afford it to make donations."
