Justin Chambers was born July 11, 1970, in Springfield, Ohio along with his fraternal twin brother, Jason! As a child, Justin wanted to become a dentist, but as he grew up he began to develop a passion for acting.

Before attending HB Studio and Ron Stetson Studios in NYC, Justin would travel to Paris, where he was soon discovered by a modeling scout! After modeling for brands including Calvin Klein, Armani, and Dolce & Gabbana, Justin made the switch to acting full time!

Justin Chambers Today

When it was announced earlier this year that Justin Chambers would not be returning to Grey's Anatomy fans were left devastated! In addition to "Alex Karev's" dramatic and shocking departure, Justin had good intentions of leaving.

The actor, now 51, has since stated in an interview with Deadline, that after 16 years of playing the same character he was ready to move on and hopes to spend more time with his wife, Keisha Chambers and their five kids. As disappointing as it was to watch Justin go, we whole-heartedly respect his decision and are eagerly awaiting to see what the future will hold for the talented star!
