Melinda Gates is sharing some details about her estranged husband, billionaire Bill Gates, and how she felt about his relationship with known sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein. Melinda shares that she met Epstein on one occasion, but knew something was off.
Melinda Gates warned Bill about Jeffery Epstein
During an interview Thursday morning with Gayle King for CBS Morning, Melinda Gates wasn't shy about sharing some details in regards to her ex-husband Bill Gates and his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, and it's not looking good for the billionaire.
In regards to her relationship with Bill, Melinda said that it "wasn't one moment or specific thing" that happened, but did share there were some concerns she felt surrounding Bill's relationship to Epstein. Epstein, who committed suicide in jail awaiting trial for government conspiracy and sex trafficking, knew the Gates family and met with Bill on multiple occasions.
"As I said it's not one thing, it was many things, but I did not like that he'd had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein," she said to King.
The philanthropist and mother also revealed that she, too, met Epstein but that she "instantly regretted it".

She elaborated saying, "I wanted to see who this man was and I regretted it from the second I stepped in the door. He was abhorrent. He was evil personified. I had nightmares about it afterwards. My heart breaks for these young women."
Bill has spoken on the issue as well, saying that he, too, regrets meeting with the con artist.
"Meeting with Epstein was a mistake that I regret deeply. It was a substantial error in judgment," he said to CBS Mornings months prior.
A source obtained by People who were close to the couple shared that it was a spot of contention in their marriage.
"She was totally opposed to what she considered shady dealings and some other issues he wanted to pursue in the business area," they said to the outlet. "he was not afraid to speak up about it either."
Furthermore, Bill also spoke on CNN about his relationship, noting that he was only interested in him for the prospect of global philanthropic work and that when it looked like the deal would fall through, "the relationship stopped".
However, Bill met with Epstein post-arrest for soliciting prostitution in a minor, Melinda was prompt to note her complete disapproval.
In 2019 when the relationship between the two men became more public, Melinda met with divorce lawyers promptly.
