After celebrating her 50th birthday in lockdown, Spencer shares it was really Keanu Reeves that made her day special!

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Octavia Spencer revealed the details surrounding her 50th birthday that made it such a special day! Despite hitting her milestone in quarantine, the award-winning actress says it was still a special day.
"Chris Evans is a dear friend. Katy Perry is a dear friend. Then Keanu Reeves, you know, surprised me," she said of her A-list pals that sent her a birthday message.
"Of course, I started crying like a baby, like, 'Keanu!' It was so fabulous," she continued.
Sharing that it was because her friends knew her love of the actor, they worked a little magic, and the Hollywood sweetheart was more than happy to comply!
"He’s somebody I like and my friends know that and it was the sweetest thing," she told the host.

This isn't the first time that Spencer had announced her love for Reeves. In 2014 the actress shared that Reeves was the first person she'd met in Hollywood after moving from Alabama.
"I had an audition and my car broke down and no one would help me because my car was so dirty until Keanu Reeves," she said to Merideth Vieira at the time.
She continued, "He was on a motorcycle and had his little motorcycle helmet and sunglasses and was like, 'Hey, you need some help?' And I kid you not, I was gonna have him get in and I was gonna push it and he was like, 'No, no, I’m gonna push you.' And I’m thinking, Oh, he’s gonna touch my car!"
