Harry And Meghan Hosted A Private Luncheon On Remembrance Day

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan made big news with their rare red carpet appearance at a military gala this week. But, the next day, which was Veterans Day in the US, the couple also attended a few quieter events, including a special luncheon.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan had fans in a frenzy with their new red carpet appearance this week.

But the couple was back to business, albeit in a quieter form, the next day, as they paid tribute to veterans and service members on Veterans/Remembrance Day (Nov. 11).

The Duke and Duchess were in New York for the initial gala, and they then travelled to New Jersey to visit a military base and host a luncheon with military families.

The couple announced their Veterans Day activities on their Archewell website along with a few photos. Harry, himself a veteran, wrote in part:

"My hope is for all of us to continue to support the wellbeing and recognise the value of our troops, veterans, and the entire military and service family. We and they are better for it."
