In February 1992, Princess Diana visited India while her then husband Prince Charles was busy with work. The picture where she appears on a bench in front of Taj Mahal became quite famous, in fact, the bench is now affectionately known as "Lady Di's chair."

Back then, Princess Diana's marriage was facing a series of problems; the iconic photo has been seen by royal fans as a reflection of her life. "It was a fascinating experience - very healing," Diana told reporters at the time the Taj Mahal picture was taken. 

Ivanka Trump recreates Princess Diana's iconic picture

Now Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, has recreated the iconic picture almost 30 years later. The President's senior advisor took to Instagram to share a series of pictures of her visit to Taj Mahal, sitting on the bench where Princess Diana sat in the early 1990's.

Ivanka Trump is currently on a two-day-trip in India with her father and their team. They will be meeting India's prime minister, Narendra Modi, to talk about issues regarding trade and defense.
