In a recent 'CNN' interview, Queen Rania of Jordan, who was born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents and raised in the West Bank, expressed her concerns about Western support for Israel's retaliatory actions against Hamas.

She also mentioned a perceived "double standard" in global sympathy for the victims of the conflict. During the interview, she criticized Israel, referring to it as an "apartheid regime" and stated that the conflict began prior to the events of October 7 when Hamas reportedly killed 1,400 Israelis.

Queen Rania's criticism follows Israel's military operation in response to a Hamas attack, resulting in a high number of casualties exceeding 1,400. She described the Israeli-led attack as a significant loss of Palestinian lives and questioned its characterization as self-defense. Queen Rania also conveyed the profound sorrow and shock felt in Jordan over the situation, “I cannot begin to describe to you the depth of the grief, the pain and the shock that we are feeling here in Jordan.”

She then proceeded to challenge U.S. President Joe Biden's response to allegations concerning the beheading of babies. She remarked, “When the President of the United States is told that he has evidence he has seen evidence of children beheaded, only to retract it because the IDF said that there's no proof of that. That is confirmation bias,” as reported by the 'Daily Mail'. She also criticized 'CNN', saying, “Even at your network Christiane, the CNN website, at the beginning of the conflict reported a headline about Israeli children found butchered in an Israeli kibbutz. And when you read through the story, that's not hasn't been independently verified.”
