Duchess Camilla was born on July 17th, 1947, and is the eldest child of Major Bruce Shand and Rosalind Cubitt. She was raised in East Sussex and South Kensington in England and was educated in three countries, England, Switzerland, and France. Camilla had two children with her first husband Andrew Parker Bowles, Tom Parker Bowles, and Laura Lopes. 

In 2005, after many rumours of romance, Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, and Camilla were married. For the better part of the last 15 years, they have been senior working members of the British royal family. Camilla has focused her duties in the areas including rape and sexual abuse, literacy, animal welfare and poverty. 

Duchess Camilla Celebrates Her 73rd Birthday

On July 17th, 2020, Camille is celebrating her 73rd birthday. In honour of her special day, the official Clarence House Instagram account released a new photo of her looking lovely in blue! The photo was taken earlier this week in the gardens of Clarence House. 

The gorgeous electric blue dress that Camilla is wearing in the photo, she had especially made for her by her wedding dress designer, Anna Valentine. The dress features a modern zip detail up the front and Camilla reportedly has a similar pattern in denim.

William and Kate Wish Camilla A Happy Birthday 

Other members of the royal family, including Duchess Kate and Prince William, took to their official social media channels to wish Camilla well on her birthday. Their picture features Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate all smiling together while on a rare public engagement!
