Camilla answered the woman saying, "I feel very, very honored and very touched."

Unfortunately, Prince Charles was not able to comment on the news, due to having to self-isolate after contracting COVID-19. Their plans to visit Winchester have been moved to a further date, so Camilla took the time to hit up the streets of London solo.

On the eve of the Queen's 70th Accession Day, Elizabeth II made her feelings about the future of the monarchy known.

The Queen said in her statement to the public, "When, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me."

She continued, "It is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service."

And how does Prince Charles feel? Well, on Sunday he wrote a statement to the public about his support of his mother's wishes, and said, "We are deeply conscious of the honor represented by my mother's wish."

He continued, "As we have sought together to serve and support Her Majesty and the people of our communities, my darling wife has been my own steadfast support throughout."

Camilla, who has been married to Charles since 2005, is very familiar already with Royal duties!
