Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have released the first part of their documentary on Netflix.

The first three episodes deal with the couple's past and the early days of their relationship. Of course, Prince Harry also discusses his mother Princess Diana in the series.

Prince Harry opens up about Princess Diana in new TV series

In addition to scenes showing Harry as a child with his family, the Prince explains: "My childhood, I remember, was filled with laughter, filled with happiness and filled with adventure."

However, there is one thing he can hardly remember now: "I don’t have many early memories of my mum. It was almost like internally I sort of blocked them out."

Also interesting:

Further he explains: "But I always remember her laugh, her cheeky laugh." And Harry says he is still, deep down, the "cheeky person" Diana raised him to be.

Even as a child, Harry had felt the impact of public attention too. "The majority of my memories are of being swarmed by paparazzi," he recalls, as videos of swarming photographers are shown.

What is clear: Prince Harry's life took a dramatic turn due to the paparazzi and the press.
