Euphoria's ending left a lot of confusion, mystery and questions. And again, there's definitely spoilers here if you haven't seen it yet!

Some worry that "Rue", played by Emmy Award-winning Zendaya, relapsed in the Episode 8 finale. Others wonder she's in a dream the whole time, or if she's died...

Euphoria's ending explained

In the finale, "Rue" is depicted in a variety of scenes that we'll try and break down for you. In one of the earlier scenes, we see a flashback of "Rue" playing with her father, and realize that her red hoodie is actually her late dad's. This breaks her, and in the next scene, we see that she has more than likely relapsed. Her whole mind and body are completely chaotic and hysterical, as she runs into the walls of her home and is just overall out of touch with reality.

Then, "Rue" is part of a choir, where she's lifted by other choir members into the sky. Suddenly, many, many hands are seen wavering in the air as "Rue" falls, hidden beneath the choir singers. At this point, many believe she has overdosed.

Additionally, the music plays just as big of a role in this scene. The lyrics of the song played titled "Labyrinth" have a significant reference to the poem Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night by Dylan Thomas, which is about fighting against death.

"Rue" then escapes from the group and out of the darkness, into the light. This should signify that she's headed towards a new direction in her life, with a more focused spotlight on her family, rather than the toxic relationship she held with "Jules". This further explains why she left "Jules" behind at the train station - she could no longer continue their relationship.
