ABC just released the premiere dates for countless shows like Big Sky, The Good Doctor, and most importantly... Grey's Anatomy! They also released teasers for the hit medical drama along with a big announcement!

Grey's Anatomy Season 17 Premiere

ABC just announced via Entertainment Weekly that the newest seasons Grey's Anatomy and Station 19 will premiere as a 2-hour crossover event! The stories will be intertwined as the coronavirus pandemic hits and the characters are already enveloped in the same world. "Dr. Andrew DeLuca", played by Giacomo Gianniotti, and a few other cast members have been featured on Station 19. Ellen Pompeo's "Dr. Meredith Grey" suspects "Andrew" may have fled to stay with his sister, "Dr. Carina DeLuca" who stars in Station 19

There will also be an almost 2-month time jump since we left off with the characters in tense situations. Do not worry, we broke down how the time jump will affect the storylines here:

Season 17 will be picking up in the throes of the pandemic and both the characters in Grey's Anatomy and Station 19 will be forced to adapt their lives to the terrifying situation. When asked on Twitter about whether COVID-19 will be involved in the new season Ellen Pompeo snapped to confirm it would.

The crossover series premiere will be on Thursday November 12 starting with Station 19 at 8 p.m. and Grey's Anatomy following at 9 p.m. Check out the teasers here!
