Lisa Kudrow recently shared what it was like to channel her inner "Phoebe" again for a special performance! On Friday, the Friends star appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she opened up about getting ready to sing "Smelly Cat" with Lady Gaga.

Kudrow says she turned to Google to relearn "Smelly Cat"

Kudrow said that after learning she and Gaga would duet on the song for HBO Max's Friends reunion special, she "was really nervous." She explained that she had to learn "Smelly Cat" again for the first time in over a decade! When she sat down to play the song though, she realized there was a major problem.

Kudrow told DeGeneres that she hadn't picked up the guitar since Friends ended, and didn't actually remember the chords for the iconic tune. Fortunately, a quick Google search was able to remedy this issue! "So, thank you world for posting the chords," she said.

Kudrow says Lady Gaga's compliment "blew me away"

Kudrow said that when it was time for the performance, she felt incredibly anxious about how things would go. "I was so panicked that I couldn't get anything out," she admitted. "I didn't know what was going to happen, but it worked out."

She also shared that she was deeply touched by Lady Gaga's compliment about how "Phoebe's" individuality has been inspiring. Kudrow said that hearing these words from the "Born This Way" singer "blew me away," because of how "her whole message was everyone be yourself and be you."
