The Crown season 6 to start filming later this year

In March, Netflix was already looking for two young actors between the ages of 16 and 20 to play Prince Harry and Prince William. According to People, the casting call stated that the cast did not need to have any acting experience and that filming would begin in August.

Now the character of Duchess Kate is also to be cast, but according to speculation she will not play a major role in the final season. The show is said to pick up with the beginning of her relationship with Prince William at St Andrews University in Scotland. However, this is said to only marginally be featured in the show.
