Courteney Cox is showing her appreciation for all the Friends fans out there this Thanksgiving! As Entertainment Tonight shares, Cox recreated a classic moment from the show in her most recent Instagram post, which was made in honour of the holiday!

Cox records herself doing "Monica's" infamous turkey dance

Cox started off her Instagram video by expressing her gratitude. "Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I hope you're having a great day, she says. "I'm feeling so thankful." Then, Cox says if she gets sent another gif of her "with a turkey on my head dancing like a f**king fool, I’m just gonna snap." Of course, Cox is referencing the iconic scene in Friends season 5, episode 8 ("The One with All the Thanksgivings")

At one point in the episode, her character "Monica Geller" does a silly dance while wearing a turkey, which is outfitted in a sunglasses and fez hat. However, the actress doesn't leave fans hanging, opting to embrace the silliness of the moment in her video! "So anyhow, since I’m the symbol of Thanksgiving," she says, "here you go, hope it makes you happy." Then, Cox proceeds to recreate "Monica's" turkey dance— turkey on the head and all!

Cox to get together with Friends co-stars in spring for reunion

Cox has continued to share her enthusiasm for the classic sitcom years after it finished airing! When it was announced that a Friends reunion would be coming to HBO Max, the actress said she and her former castmates are "going to have the best time" getting together and taking a look back at their time on the show.

While the original hope was for the Friends reunion to debut on the streaming service when it first launched, the pandemic unfortunately caused it to be put on hold for some time! However, Matthew Perry— who plays "Chandler Bing" in the show— recently gave fans an update, revealing that the plan is now for the reunion to be filmed next spring!
