Yanic Truesdale is a Canadian actor born in Montreal, Quebec who is best known for portraying "Michel Gerard" on Gilmore Girls for all seven seasons. His role of "Michele" even prompted Daily Variety to name him one of the "10 Actors to Watch" during his time on Gilmore Girls. However, Yanic's first role on television was in the Canadian series, He Shoots, He Scores.

Truesdale moved to New York to pursue his acting career a little more in depth and then moved to Los Angeles. After his role in Gilmore Girls, he starred in 2 episodes of Rumours in 2008, 5 episodes of Bad Karma in 2012 and the TV mini-series The Fixer in 2015. He also returned to reprise his role of "Michel" in the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life revival in 2016.

In 2011, Yanic moved back to his home town of Montreal from Los Angeles and opened a spin studio called SpinEnergie which is inspired by Los Angeles' dance style. He is still active in the entertainment industry today and has been working on a few different projects in recent months including Christmas Catch (2018), Let Go as "Todd" (coming in 2020), Love by Accident as "Officer Paul" in 2019 and coming soon, his role as "Max" in My Salinger Year.

The 49-year-old actor is very active on his Instagram account, often posting about his current projects in the film and television industry as well as his personal life. He is still close with some of his Gilmore Girls co-stars like Melissa McCarthy, who played "Sukie," Scott Paterson ("Luke Danes") and Lauren Graham ("Lorelai")! In terms of a relationship and children, it appears that Yanic is single with no kids at this time.
