From 2000 to 2007 the Gilmore Girls series, a creation of Amy Sherman-Palladino was in charge of showing us the life of single mother "Lorelai Gilmore" and her daughter "Rory Gilmore."

In 2016, a miniseries, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, was released, which followed the story of the Gilmore Girls characters, new years later.

Despite ending in 2007, Gilmore Girls maintains a huge fan base, and as a result of its story, characters, and mix of drama and humor, Gilmore Girls is on its way to becoming a cult series! This series has even been considered by many to be one of the best television shows ever.
