Tan France revealed on Pop of the Morning that Joaquin Phoenix is a big fan of Queer Eye.

France says that the Joker actor himself told him the news - and he did so just moments after he'd won the Oscar for Best Actor!

Joaquin Phoenix: The Joker actor is a Queer Eye superfan

France and Phoenix met at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscars Afterparty, where the Joker actor confessed his fandom to the Queer Eye star.

"Joaquin had just won his Oscar and he wanted to talk to me and hang out with me," France said. "He enjoyed the Japanese episodes [of Queer Eye], he had watched them earlier on that day."

France and his fellow Queer Eye stars had cohosted Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscars Viewing Party earlier in the evening.

Netflix's current Queer Eye series is a reboot of the show that aired with the same title in the 2000s. It features a new cast, which includes Tan France, who is the show's fashion expert.

The popular series currently has four seasons on Netflix, as well as a special four-episode series titled Queer Eye: We're In Japan - which Joaquin Phoenix reportedly enjoyed before he attended the 2020 Oscars.
