Since the Coronavirus outbreak, Prince William and Duchess Kate have been taking care of the school education of their two oldest children. There are still summer holidays in Great Britain, but autumn is quickly approaching and with it the start of school again. What's next for Prince George and sister Charlotte?

Returning to London for school?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William, and Kate, left London at the beginning of March with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Since the pandemic broke out, the British Royal members have together withdrawn to their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.

However, on September 7th, classes at Thomas’s Battersea school will start, a renowned private school attended by Kate and William’s two oldest children. Although the school started teaching children on site again at the beginning of June, they were able to let the little royals stay at home so far.

Towards the end of the last school year, only part of the student body was actually allowed to return to school. After the summer break, depending on UK regulations, Thomas's Battersea will likely continue on this path or have more children educated locally.

That means George and Charlotte might be able to go back to school soon. In return, the Cambridges will probably return to Kensington Palace, where they live in London.

It is also possible that only one of the children of the British heir to the throne will go back to in-person classes and the other will continue to stay at home. The children of Kate and William are sure to be very excited about the new school start for Charlotte and George.
