While on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Bassett made it clear that the new Black Panther will be unlike anything before it! Chadwick Boseman, who played the superhero in the first movie, tragically passed from cancer, and Bassett is saying they will honour him in the new film.

"It’s gonna be amazing," she told the host, noting that they're hoping to "raise the standard" in honour of Boseman.

Also Interesting:

Bassett also noted that it was challenging to come back to the set without Boseman, saying that he was "such a leader" and had "such a talent".

She went on to say that he had such "a big heart", and that he had "great intellect".

She then went on to say that unfortunately, she can't give us any more details on the new Marvel film.

She did say though, that while she can't say much much more other than it will be out in November, she did say it "would top one".
